- Field Inspection – Our inspections are backed by direct field experience as appraisers, surveyors, engineers, and construction managers on new and retro-fit capital projects. We go beyond harvesting nameplate data by specifically observing condition and gathering important information specific to the asset or group of assets.

- Asset Listing - We reconcile the assets between combined documentation from the different departments including accounting, facilities management, and IT to the actual observed assets in the field and/or the floor. Structures, “Ghost” assets, leased equipment, jigs, fixtures, tooling, new parts inventory, raw materials inventory, work in process items will be highlighted. Enterprise assets will be sorted into a database by group type, e.g.; Production Machinery, Support Equipment, IT, Furniture, Vehicles, Fixtures, Structures, Land Improvements.

- Fair Market Value Appraisals – Typical accounting reports automate the current value based on a yearly percentage declination over of the expected life of on a broad group of assets. The book value may not accurately represent the fair market value of the assets. Physical, Functional, and External depreciation must be accurately determined and applied.

- Specialized Reports - Fixed asset database will have the following uses;
- Asset based lending - UCC, SBA 504
- State required yearly personal property returns for tax purposes
- Insurance – ensure you are adequately covered while maintaining reasonable premiums
- Financial reporting - business combinations SFAS 141 (ASC) 805
- Cost segregation for identifying real property assets that qualify for an accelerated depreciation as 1245 property.
